A formula recommended for Chronic Hepatitis B caused by Hepatitis B Virus. Battle Hepatitis B, improve your liver, improve your life.

Phyllanthus amarus is by-far the most promising natural cure for chronic hepatitis B. According to several studies, this plant (herb) is said to have curative properties by suppressing transcription of hepatitis B virus messenger RNA (mRNA) (Ott et al., 1997).  It does this by inhibiting hepatitis B virus enhancer I activity. Within the virus' genome, there are enhancer regions where enhancer-binding proteins, called transcription factors, attach to and allow the virus' DNA to be copied. In other words, these transcription factors "enhance" the viral replication process by binding to these enhancer DNA sequences. This herb down-regulates transcription of hepatitis B virus mRNA (the precursor of viral proteins) by a specific mechanism involving the interactions between hepatitis B virus enhancer I region and transcription factors (Figure 1) (Ott et al., 1997). Said differently, this natural chemical compound blocks the binding of transcription factors with enhancer DNA, and as a result, prevents the production of hepatitis B mRNA. Other studies have shown that an aqueous extract of Phyllanthus amarus inhibits endogenous hepatitis B viral polymerase and binds to the surface antigen of hepatitis B virus in vitro (Venkateswaran et al., 1987). Compared to most FDA approved hepatitis B treatments such as Entecavir, this herb is relatively inexpensive.

We encourage you to use this herb as a means to improve your liver from hepatitis B virus and help increase your chances of becoming immune to this pathogenic microorganism. The active ingredient - purified phyllanthin contained in each capsule (Figure 2), is scientifically and historically proven to treat a wide range of human diseases, in particular hepatitis B in both in-vivo and in-vitro studies. Some of the medicinal properties suggested by numerous research papers are anti-hepatotoxic, antilithic, anti-hypertensive, anti-HIV, and anti-hepatitis B. Consequently, Phyllanthus amarus is highly valued in the treatment of liver ailments as a way to restore the functional efficiency of the liver and, in turn, promote hepatocellular regeneration.

Phyllanthin Chemical Structure

Research studies have shown that Phyllanthus amarus:

  • Inhibits HIV replication both in vitro and in vivo
  • Has inhibitory effect on hepatitis B virus (HBV) polymerase activity and mRNA transcription due to interactions with HBV enhancer I and C/EBP-α and -β transcription factors
  • Antioxidant potential against DPPH· (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl), ABTS· (3-ethylbenz-thiazoline-6-sulfonic acid), and Fe+3 (iron) radicals.
  • Anti-mutagenic and anticarcinogenic effects on hamster liver cells
  • Protective effect against lipid peroxidation and protein oxidation
  • Immunostimulant
  • TNF-α release inhibition and antitumour and anticancer activity (more)
  • Significant effects on clearance of serum HBeAg (hepatitis E antigen)

Disclaimer: Please note that as the owner of this website, I am not benefiting from advertising this product. Rather, I truly believe in the power of this herb after I personally tested it on someone who is very close and dear to me. After taking it for three (3) months, blood tests showed dramatic (significant) improvements to both the overall functioning of his immune system (enhanced T-cell, B-cell, macrophage, and/or neutrophil response against virus-infected cells of the liver) and overall physiological functioning of the liver. It has been six (6) months into the regime and he has finally been told by his liver specialist that his regular three month check-up can now be extended to every six months instead due to improvement. However, be advised that this subject took this herb (~1000 mg / daily = ~ 3 capsules / day) in conjunction with an FDA-approved drug called tenofovir every day. The subject also did not smoke or drink alcohol (nor do they have a history), and pursued a relatively healthy diet.

Each day, you are recommended to take up to five (5) capsules / day according to the manufacturer. I limited this amount to only three (3) / day (~1000 mg). Each bottle contains 100 capsules, so one bottle should be completed by the first month, 200 capsules by the second month, and 300 capsules by the third month, and so on. If you are skeptic, first order a three month supply and see how your results turn out. If there is an improvement, order a second three (3) month supply. Your order may take up to 4 weeks to arrive, so please be patient.
